So the mob on the Opera House steps in Sydney back on October 9 2023 did not say “Gas the Jews!” Well probably not, we were being told by the great and the good. They simply said “Where are the Jews?”

Phew! That’s alright then. They were most likely wondering where the Jewish people mourning the October 7 massacre were, so that they could join them in their tears.

The rush to exonerate the mob that turned up to celebrate the massacre, while at the same time gaslighting the Jews over the ensuing two years, has been a disgraceful stain in Australia’s history.

What began on the steps of the Opera House, with the Jewish people being advised to stay at home, while the murder of their fellow Jews in Israel was being celebrated, was the first step that led to Bondi in December 2025.

A straight line that can be drawn from the government’s inept response at one of our greatest icons to the tragedy experienced at another.
